Randy Carpenter Assumes New Leadership Role at Sonoran Institute – 01.27.2011

“The entrepreneur Ray Kroc once said, ‘The quality of a leader is reflected in the standards they set for themselves,’” said Diane Snyder, director of the Institute’s Northern Rockies program. “Randy has set the excellence standard here at the Sonoran Institute high. He is an incredible asset to the organization and the region within which we work.”

The Institute’s Northern Rockies Regional Program encompasses Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming. “Our work in the region promotes healthy landscapes, vibrant economies, and livable communities,” said Diane. “The strategies that shape our work in this region are built upon an understanding of the local character and culture of the region. We work collaboratively with local and state leaders and community groups to find the best approaches and solutions for their needs.”

“Randy’s new position recognizes his valuable knowledge and experience, and his seniority as a leader in the organization,” said Luther Propst, executive director of the Institute. “Randy’s contributions and commitment to the organization are exceptional.”
