As summer winds down and the days grow shorter, it is a great time to reflect on what we have accomplished and plan for the season ahead. Fall brings opportunities to prepare our gardens and communities for changing conditions while embracing water-smart practices.
This month, we are excited to feature Commerce City, Colorado’s new low-water garden designs, a practical way to create landscapes that thrive in our region’s climate while conserving water. We also highlight the upcoming West Slope Colorado technical assistance request for proposals, due October 31, and offers from our partners to provide support and resources to Growing Water Smart alumni communities.
We hope this newsletter inspires you to take steps both large and small toward a healthier, more water-wise season.
