Hannah Woelke has worked in disability services in Tucson for over a decade and supported marginalized people her entire life. The bulk of her time has been spent advocating with youth and young adults with cognitive developmental disabilities. Hannah believes strongly that disability rights are human rights and that everyone deserves freedom of choice.

Desert Survivors is a Tucson-based, non-profit organization that provides supported employment and job training for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They operate a native plant nursery and provide commercial landscaping so that individuals with disabilities can gain valuable experience. The organization is dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where participants are valued, respected, and empowered.
