We invite you to join us at our community design workshop. At this event, you can share your vision, preferences, and priorities for the site design exercise for the Santa Cruz River in Tucson’s urban corridor. Your knowledge of the site—its past planning efforts and studies, as well as its limitations and opportunities—will be essential in shaping the river refuge concepts and helping us develop maps that strengthen community and wildlife connectivity to the river.

This event will take place Friday, September 25th, 2026 from 9am-2pm at the Sundt Gallery, College of Architecture Planning and Landscape Architecture, University of Arizona. Please visit https://capla.arizona.edu/visit for directions. The event will be in the Sundt Gallery, located on the ground floor of the CAPLA West with accessible entrances from both entries.
