Join us and our friends at Tucson Clean & Beautiful for a Santa Cruz Watershed Day of Connection. We will be assisting in a clean-up and celebration of Barrio Kroger Land and the Santa Cruz Heritage Project. In addition to a community clean-up, this event is designed to connect participants with the history, culture, and restoration efforts happening in Barrio Kroger Lane and along the Santa Cruz River.
- Trash pickup and beautification of the neighborhood and river area
- Wildlife observation to learn about the local ecosystem
- Community storytelling and history sharing about Barrio Kroger Lane and the Santa Cruz Heritage Project
- Watershed education to explore how we can all contribute to river health
Meet us at Verdugo Park, we’ll head to the clean-up site along the Santa Cruz River and Barrio Kroger Lane.
